This comic is a very short story for a man with a big heart, Micah True. If only we could tell a 300 page story, it would still only scratch the surface. Micah touched the lives of countless people, and his legacy grows everyday. I am honored to play a small part in it.
Today’s sketch, is a quickie I did of two great smaller characters and their larger counterparts. Enjoy. Tomorrow will have actual sketches of work I have been doing.
I did this quick sketch last night. I’m a bit of a Song of Ice and Fire fan… and I’m at this point in the Storm of Swords book. This may be the beginning of a series of fan sketches.
Thus begins my foray into trying to post as much work/sketches as possible. I hope you enjoy this first page of sketches I did a few days after Christmas.
Last week, as a part of the Year of the Arts at Dartmouth College, I was invited to do some live cartooning at the Collis Center on campus. This is what I came up with. Thank you Juli Coombs for the opportunity!
It was a very enjoyable experience and they seemed very happy with the work. Hopefully it will help to jumpstart me into doing non-fiction essay comics again.
Check out the Collis Center for yourself: http://www.dartmouth.edu/~sao/collis/
Here is one of three videos I helped to illustrate for Dartmouth College. It was a wonderful experience and I hope you enjoy them!
Well, I’m on Tumblr. Going to be using this as my main internet presence, so check back often for images and updates on what I’m doing.
